A key design feature of the Savage Gear 3D Burbot is the Hybrid Line Thru Release System. The hook harness releases from the body of the bait when a fish is hooked. Through the fight, the body of the bait swings free of the hook harness, both dramatically reducing damage to the lure body, and dramatically increasing hook-to-land ratio.
In addition to exceptional fin and body detail, all sizes of the 3D Burbot include a molded-in glass rattle in the tail of the bait.
